The Notre Dame Fighting Irish smashed the visiting Lincoln Cougars soccer team by a tally of 6-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Fighting Irish clash with the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a game, on Saturday, September 6. Notre Dame will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats go into the Big Ten bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Grafton got by Keyser (Keyser, WV), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
