With the triumph, Waterloo moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Granite City (Granite City, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Granite City lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Highland, IL)

The Knights now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Mater Dei will clash with a Comets team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, IL). The Comets record now stands at 0-4.
