In Thursday's non-league contest, the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) soccer team routed the visiting New Buffalo Bison (New Buffalo, MI), by a count of 6-2.

Next, the Cougars battle the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana Soccer Conf contest, on Wednesday, September 3. New Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN).

The Bison (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Covert (Covert, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph contest with a 0-2 record.
