In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Strath Haven Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Pope John Paul II .
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Conestoga (Berwyn, PA). The Pioneers go into the Central outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Conestoga got by Great Valley (Malvern, PA), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the play the Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) in a Pioneer outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Pope John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA).
