The Woodmore Wildcats soccer squad (Elmore, OH), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH)

The Black Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Genoa Area (Genoa, OH). The Comets come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Genoa Area was overwhelmed by Lake (Millbury, OH), 5-2, in a league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otsego for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. Woodmore will confront a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
