In Thursday's non-league match, the host Dibble Demons softball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Alex Longhorns.
The Demons (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Minco (Minco, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 2A game with a 4-8 record.
The Longhorns now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Moss for a non-league game on Friday, August 29. Alex will play a Pirates squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Preston (Preston, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 3-8.
