Nebraska High School Softball - Standing Bear knocked off by Blair

August 28, 2025: Lincoln, NE 68516

The Blair Bears overwhelmed the host Standing Bear Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Blair will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 9-4 non-league win over Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE).

The Grizzlies (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Lincoln Southwest achieved victory over Columbus (Columbus, NE), 13-0, in a league outing.
