Georgia High School Softball - Seminole County bounces Calhoun County

The Seminole County Indians softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Calhoun County Cougars to 1 in the Indians league win on Thursday.
The Indians now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelham for a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Wednesday, September 3. Seminole County will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Pirates come into the 1A D-II Region 1 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Miller County ran past Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 23-2, in a league battle.
