Nebraska High School Softball - Milford bounces St. Paul

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the host St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), observed Milford's softball team get by St. Paul by a final score of 6-1.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Wolverines enter the C District 5 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Wilber-Clatonia nudged Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE), 10-2, in a non-league game.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. St. Paul will battle a Slammers team coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Slammers record now stands at 1-5.
