Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Jim Ned beat Cooper (Abilene, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Paris will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX).
