In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Antioch Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Napa Grizzlies.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Livermore beat Hayward (Hayward, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) in a Vine Valley Athletic League test, on Tuesday, September 2. Napa will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Gauchos go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA).
