Michigan High School Volleyball - Avondale tips Brandon

August 28, 2025: Ortonville, MI 48462

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) and the host Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI), observed Avondale's volleyball team hold off Brandon by a count of 3-2.

The Yellowjackets (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northern (Pontiac, MI). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Blackhawks encounter the Owosso Trojans (Owosso, MI) in a Flint Metro battle, on Thursday, September 4. Brandon will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Webberville (Webberville, MI).
