Illinois High School Volleyball - Bureau Valley can't hold off Mercer County

In Thursday's non-league match, the Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. Mercer County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL).

The Storm (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Morrison (Morrison, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record.
