In Thursday's league challenge, the host Calvary Day Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Islands Sharks.

The Cavaliers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the 3A Area 3 challenge with a 4-8 record.

Next, the Sharks meet the The Habersham School Patriots (Savannah, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Islands will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record.
