The Center Grove Trojans volleyball squad (Greenwood, IN), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN)

With the win, Plainfield improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Quakers host Mooresville (Mooresville, IN) to encounter the Pioneers in a Mid-State battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Pioneers go into the battle with a record of 5-8. Mooresville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN)

The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Center Grove will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-4.
