The Saguaro Sabercats volleyball squad (Scottsdale, AZ), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the win, Chaparral advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Firebirds host Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Vipers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Vipers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Verrado lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

The Sabercats now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tempe for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Saguaro will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Buffaloes record now stands at 0-2.
