Texas High School Volleyball - Clark over Marcus

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), observed Clark's volleyball team top Marcus by a tally of 2-0.

The Cougars (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Stony Point was beaten by Tomball (Tomball, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Marauders meet the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Marcus will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX).
