North Carolina High School Volleyball - New Bern can't hold off Coastal Christian

August 28, 2025: New Bern, NC 28562

The Coastal Christian Centurions held off the host New Bern Bears volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Centurions now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host New Hanover for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3.

With the loss, New Bern drops to 5-2 on the year. The Bears travel to West Craven (Vanceboro, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-1. West Craven won 3-0 in their recent league match against North Pitt (Bethel, NC)
