The Southwest Dragons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Corpus Christi Moody Trojans to 0 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now have a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Somerset for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Southwest will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Corpus Christi Moody drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX) to play the Rough Riders in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. The Rough Riders come into the outing with a record of 7-11. SA Roosevelt lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX)
