In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Eisenhower Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cypress Park Tigers.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Stafford (Stafford, TX). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Stafford nudged Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their game against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, North Shore was edged by Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
