Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) boosters left the game pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Roughriders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson (Benson, AZ). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Benson beat Willcox (Willcox, AZ), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Apaches meet the San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Fort Thomas will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
