In Thursday's non-league match, the Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID) volleyball squad overcame the host Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Spartans battle the St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) in a 3A Central Idaho match, on Tuesday, September 2. Priest River will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wallace (Wallace, ID).
The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Lakeside (Plummer, ID). The Knights enter the 2A Scenic Idaho match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Lakeside notched a victory over Coeur du Christ Academy (Coeur d'Alene, ID), 3-1, in a non-league match.
