The Homestead Broncos volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hialeah Thoroughbreds to 1 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Broncos now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Braddock for a 6A District 16 game on Thursday, September 4.

The Thoroughbreds (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Reagan (Doral, FL). The Bison go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Reagan was dropped by Coral Gables (Coral Gables, FL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
