South Dakota High School Volleyball - Irene/Wakonda over Scotland

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Irene/Wakonda Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Scotland Highlanders.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers come into the B Region 4 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Freeman beat Avon (Avon, SD), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) in a B Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Scotland will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Cubs go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD).
