Marymount Sailors (Los Angeles, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sailors (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Desert Oasis gained a win over Kohala (Kapaau, HI), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Nighthawks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mililani for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Ironwood Ridge will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.
