The Leon Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Valor Preparatory Academy Knights to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Leon will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX).
The Knights (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Providence Prep (Belton, TX). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Providence Prep nudged CenTex HomeSchool (Temple, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
