The Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Monte Alto Blue Devil (Monte Alto, TX), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Jubilee Brownsville for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30.
With the loss, Monte Alto drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Blue devil host Vanguard Academy Rembrandt (Pharr, TX) to clash with the Spartans in a 3A Region IV District 31 bout on Saturday, September 20. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
