In Thursday's league match, the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks (Ellettsville, IN) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Medora Hornets (Medora, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

The Firehawks now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Cannelton for a Southern Roads bout on Saturday, August 30. Seven Oaks Classical will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Medora drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 1. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Southwestern lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mooresville Christian (Mooresville, IN)
