The Minneapolis South Tigers volleyball squad (Minneapolis, MN), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN)

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Roosevelt beat Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN) in a Minneapolis City test, on Wednesday, September 3. Minneapolis South will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
