Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview overwhelmed by St. Ursula Academy

The St. Ursula Academy Arrows topped the visiting Northview Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Arrows face the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) in a Three Rivers Athletic outing, on Wednesday, September 3. St. Ursula Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.

With the loss, Northview drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to play the Bobcats in a Northern Lakes outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Bowling Green won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Southview (Sylvania, OH)

TOLEDO - In a non-conference match-up of two of the best in NW Ohio, and it was all St. Ursula from the start, even though the Cats fought back hard in set three, the Arrows just proved to be too much for Northview, winning 3 sets to 0. This pushes Northview to 3-3 on the year, 2-1 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview was junior middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 10 kills, hitting .273, with 2 blocks; and senior outside hitter, Talia Twigg, with 7 kills, 11 digs and 3 aces. Junior setter, Alayna Sauer dished out 24 assists.
Northview returns to the court after Labor Day as they host Bowling Green on Teacher Appreciation Night and USA Theme Night on Tuesday, September 2nd.
