The Sparta Spartans volleyball squad (Sparta, WI), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI)

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fall Creek (Fall Creek, WI). The Crickets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fall Creek notched a victory over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, WI), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Spartans meet the Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. Sparta will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI).
