Texas High School Volleyball - Oak Ridge tips Springtown

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Springtown Porcupines.

The War Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Cubs enter the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Brenham was edged by Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Porcupines now own a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Springtown will face a Sharks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 10-8.
