With the win, Sequoyah improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Berryhill (Tulsa, OK) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 8-4.

The Cougars now own a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Okay for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11.
