Illinois High School Volleyball - Seneca over Roanoke-Benson

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Roanoke-Benson Rockets.

The Fighting Irish (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Wilmington gained a win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bede for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Roanoke-Benson will face a Bruins squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 1-1.
