Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Salina Wildcats (Salina, OK) and the host Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), observed Salina's volleyball team top Sperry by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Classen SAS achieved victory over Braggs (Braggs, OK), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Sperry will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
