Arizona High School Volleyball - Scottsdale Preparatory Academy tips St. John Paul II Catholic

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ), observed Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's volleyball team hold off St. John Paul II Catholic by a tally of 3-2.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Veritas Prep tipped Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. St. John Paul II Catholic will encounter a Heroes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Heroes record now stands at 0-2.
