In Thursday's non-league battle, the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) volleyball squad got by the host West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Sharon improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Fairview (Fairview, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2.
