Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX) and the host Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX), observed Tomball's volleyball team top Stony Point by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (20-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jenks (Jenks, OK). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Jenks was knocked off by Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Reagan Rattlers (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 28. Stony Point will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Rattlers enter the contest with a 14-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Long Creek (New Braunfels, TX).
