Texas High School Volleyball - The Woodlands over Vandegrift

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) and the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), observed The Woodlands's volleyball team top Vandegrift by a count of 2-0.

The Highlanders (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Brandeis was knocked off by Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vipers encounter the Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. Vandegrift will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Broncos go into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX).
