The Red Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. South Point will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Shelby drops to 0-3 on the season. The Golden lions host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-0.
