The Alexander Central Cougars topped the host Draughn Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunker Hill for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. Alexander Central will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 0-4.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Owen was knocked off by North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
