North Carolina High School Volleyball - Clayton can't hold off West Johnston

The Clayton Comets volleyball team (Clayton, NC), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC)

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Fike was edged by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets encounter the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Clayton will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hunt (Wilson, NC).
