Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) in a Northeast Hoosier challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Columbia City will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 league win over East Noble (Kendallville, IN).
The Cougars now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Noble for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. Central Noble will confront a Knights team coming off a 7-0 league loss to DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
