In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Unioto Shermans soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fairfield Union Falcons.
The Shermans (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Generals come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Sheridan was nudged by John Glenn (New Concord, OH), 6-0, in a league battle.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Mid-State - Buckeye battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bloom-Carroll was nudged by Bexley (Columbus, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
