Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans face the Lowell Red Arrows (Lowell, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Thornapple Kellogg will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Red Arrows enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Allendale (Allendale, MI).

The Wildcats now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Hills Eastern for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge on Thursday, September 1. Wayland will face a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
