The Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Clinton Maroons to 0 in the Broncos non-league victory on Monday.

The Broncos now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland for a non-league game on Saturday, September 3. Cerro Gordo/Bement will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stewardson-Strasburg (Strasburg, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.

The Maroons (1-2) will now prepare for their game against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, El Paso-Gridley defeated Woodland (Streator, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
