The West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) volleyball tipped the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Lincoln upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Rebels travel to Bandys (Catawba, NC) to play the Trojans in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A outing on Tuesday, August 30. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Bandys lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)

The Trojans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host East Rutherford for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing on Thursday, September 1. Chase will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
