The Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) volleyball overcame the host Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Jim Thorpe betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Olympians host Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to face the Indians in a Schuylkill County 1 outing on Thursday, September 1. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Lehighton won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA)

The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Shamokin Area for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. Williams Valley will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
