The Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers held off the visiting Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Wheaton-Warrenville South will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
The Bengals (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Lockport was nudged by Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
