In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Carrizozo Grizzlies.

The SonBlazers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Hot Springs achieved victory over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Animas Panthers (Animas, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Carrizozo will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
